Chas (the new bass player for The Chancellors) and I were in a power trio in the early 80's and wanted to revive that repertoire.
Stephen was also interested in doing more powerful and difficult music, so, The Three was born in the Summer of 2006.
At the outset, we decided that we weren't going to be swayed by what we thought the audience might want to hear, but play
what we wanted to play. At the few gigs we've played, we were pleased to find that most of our audiences were on the same
page, glad NOT to hear the same old "oldies" again.
We specialize in the music of Cream, Hendrix, U2, The Who, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and the like. This is somewhat of a variation
from our "good time rock and roll" fare with the Chancellors.
